✈️ Belgian Air Force Days – Florennes 2026
On 27 and 28 June 2026, Florennes Air Base will exceptionally open its doors to the general public for the Belgian Air Force Days. After nearly ten years of anticipation, this major international air event marks the return of aerial demonstrations to Belgium.
This edition will be held under the theme “80 Years of the Belgian Air Force.” To celebrate this historic milestone, the 2nd Tactical Wing has been preparing for months an impressive program featuring Belgian and foreign aircraft, both historic and modern, showcased in flight and on static display.
Visitors will notably be able to admire the F‑35A, a 5th‑generation fighter aircraft, as well as the MQ‑9B, a state‑of‑the‑art remotely piloted aircraft. An immersive exhibition dedicated to the 80 years of the Belgian Air Force will also be hosted aboard an A400M, presenting the history and evolution of this iconic institution.
An Air Careers Fair will complement the event, offering young people and the general public an opportunity to discover the careers and opportunities available within Belgian military aviation, in an educational and inspiring setting.
With an expected attendance of nearly 80,000 spectators, the Belgian Air Force Days are set to be one of Europe’s major air events in 2026. As tickets are limited, advance booking is highly recommended to ensure you do not miss this exceptional weekend. ✈️
