After his sold-out concert at the Sportpaleis in 2022, the internationally renowned Italian tenor will return to the biggest venue of our country on Friday, March 27th, 2026! The esteemed tenor, who is celebrating his 30-year successful career this year, will perform his greatest successes from the past three decades, as well as the most famous and beloved opera classics.
Recognized around the world as an icon of the greatest Italian vocal tradition, Andrea Bocelli has sold over 90 million records. With his blend of classical and popular music, Bocelli appeals to millions of people. He has collaborated with some of the world's biggest pop stars, including Céline Dion, Tony Bennett, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger, and many others. The record-breaking artist, who sees his concerts all over the world attended by huge crowds, has broken every record in the industry. His countless acknowledgments include a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 6 Grammy Award nominations and 6 Latin Grammy Award nominations.
Andrea Bocelli initially became widely famous for winning the Sanremo Music Festival in 1994 and at the same time started his dazzling classical career, performing masterpieces from the opera repertoire on stage such as Manon Lescaut conducted by Plácido Domingo, Turandot and Aida conducted by Zubin Mehta.
In 2018, his pop album “Sì”, was released in over 60 countries, following the release of the single “If Only” and “Fall on me”, the duet featuring his son Matteo’s debut. The record simultaneously took first place in the UK and US charts, thus making history.
On Easter Day, April 12, 2020, the Maestro performed at the deserted Duomo of Milan during the“Music for Hope” event, which is considered one of the biggest musical live stream performances of all-time, with over 2.8 million peak concurrent viewers and boasts the largest simultaneous audience for a classical live stream in YouTube history. The video received more than 28 million views in its first 24 hours.
The album “Believe” was released in 2020 and features famous songs (from “You’ll Never Walk Alone” to “Amazing Grace”), as well as original tracks – composed by Bocelli himself and Ennio Morricone, among others. Cecilia Bartoli and Alison Krauss also lent their voices to duets.
On June 11, 2021, he was one of the stars of the UEFA Euro 2020 opening ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. In 2022, UMG has released no less than three new opera productions, (“Lucia di Lammermoor”, “La forza del destino” and “Otello”) with the Tuscan tenor in their respective leading roles.
In 2011, he founded the Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) with the aim of enhancing the wealth of relationships and the bond of trust that he has been able to establish and establishes wherever he goes around the world, where he is inevitably considered a musical and ethical point of reference.
In July 2024, the beloved Tuscan tenor celebrated three decades of his successful career with ‘Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration’, a three-day concert event in his hometown of Lajatico, Italy. The celebratory event took place at Tuscany’s Teatro del Silenzio and feature dappearances from several superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Jon Batiste, Russell Crowe, Sofia Vergara, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, as well as his children Matteo and Virginia. Additionally, classical musicians performed alongside the 65-year-old singer, including Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, Bryn Terfel and Nadine Sierra. Along with the three day event, Bocelli’s concert was documented into a concert film, produced by Grammy-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Sam Wrench (Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour).
